Neyrfor turbines are used as a basic system for vertical, directional and horizontal drilling in the most complicated geological and technological conditions.

The turbine power section can be changed to adjust the power characteristics for optimum drilling parameters, and the use of different stabilizers can change the BHA running trends. The average operating time of turbines has been extended to 800 hours at minimized vibration which cut the likelihood of failure of other BHA components. Unlike other drilling systems (PDM, RSS), the all-metal design of turbines eliminates failures at high temperatures and pressure, as well as in oil-base muds.

Power section review:
