The core barrel is used to collect core from drilling operations.
Core collection during rotary drilling or drilling with positive displacement motors.
One-, two-, and three-section design.
To increase the amount of core retrieved and reduce loads applied to the bottom of a drill string, core barrels can be fitted with spiral stabilizers. The stabilizer size is selected by agreement with the customer. Each of the stabilizer blades is reinforced with three-row inserts in the place they touch the wellbore, or is hardfaced with tungsten-carbide material.
Reinforced surfaces of calibrator blades.
Different design styles and configurations for specific customer’s needs.
Reduced load on the body parts of the tool and drill string bottom.
Enhanced wear-resistance of centralizers and calibrators.
